The keyfob is used by the user to arm, part-arm, and disarm the system.
It is a member of the U-Net series of devices and is fully compatible with any U-Net-enabled gateway.
The keyfob also incorporates a panic switch which when activated will immediately initiate an emergency alarm condition.
The LED indicator on the keyfob not only tells the user the command has been sent but also if it is confirmed back by the gateway.
This two-way confirmation ensures the request is properly executed.
When the battery runs low the flashing LED informs the user to replace the battery.

The keyfob is used by the user to arm, part-arm, and disarm the system. It also has a Panic switch. Activating the Panic switch will immediately initiate an emergency alarm condition whether the system is Armed or Disarmed. The LED indicator on the keyfob not only tells the user the command has been sent but also if it is confirmed back by the gateway. It is possible to add more than one keyfob to every system, each one with a different name, so the user will know who is entering/leaving the house.
